Kim Vergottini is the Founder and CEO of SMART-LE, a Virtual Reality simulation platform dedicated to improving nursing/medical education through the development of cutting edge technologies such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and AI driven Natural Language Processing. After a long career as an experienced Registered Nurse in a variety of clinical areas such as Med/Surg Acute Care, Cardiothoracic ICU, and PACU at the highly rated Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland Ohio (USA), Kim eventually moved to Abu Dhabi, where she served as part of the inaugural staff that opened Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (UAE). There she took on the role of managing the hospital wide role of onboarding, assessment, orientation, and upskilling of newly recruited international nurses from a variety of countries. These experiences have given her a wide breath and depth of knowledge about the educational levels and experiences of nurses across the world and the needs of the future of nursing, especially as it pertains to nursing education on a global level. Once she recognized that nursing needs to make a huge shift in the way we teach nurses, Kim left her full time job to pursue learning and developing virtual and augmented reality for nurses and medical professional. Kim eventually started her own company, SMART-LE (Simulated Medical Ar/vR Technologies and Learning Environments). Kim has always been a visionary and creative thinker looking at what is possible and never the impossible for technology and the future of nursing. As Audrey Hepburn once said, the word Impossible is made up of “I’m possible”!
Noel Chisaka is a Medical Doctor with a Master’s in Public Health and Disease Control and has more than 20 years of combined clinical and public health experience. He has experience working with Governments and UN Agencies, with focus on disease control and health systems. He was worked in fragile conflict and violent countries supporting development programmes in health using innovative financing, third party engagements and similar implementation approaches and strengthening capacity in resource-constrained settings through support for improving primary care services. In addition, He was contributed to international health development through country, regional and global level engagement in policy dialogue, strategy and programme design and partner engagement. He has comparable experience in health systems strengthening prevention and management of infectious diseases, infectious diseases epidemiology, public health emergency preparedness and response and, public health policy development and implementation. Prior to joining the World Bank, He worked with WHO focusing on the east and southern Africa malaria programming and support for programme directed systems strengthening. Before then, He worked as a senior research scientist at the Tropical Diseases Research Centre in my Country, Zambia.
David Wearne considers himself a generalist. He completed his schooling as a cadet officer in the merchant marine, and as the result of his association with his family and their technology businesses.
Later he founded an import/export company and has been involved with many and varied business and social enterprises.
It was his love of yacht racing that led to a chance encounter in Sydney in the 1990’s, and a subsequent role as a ‘trouble-shooter’ to investigate into matters pertaining to the Australian ‘safe syringe program’.
Over time, David became a Harm Reduction specialist. He then went on to develop the first commercial implementation of a Harm Reduction Program with the founding of Caretech.

Professor Dr. Hematram Yadav was the former Head of Family Health Development Division, Ministry of Health in Malaysia. He later joined University Malaya as head of Family Health in the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine in University Malaya (UM) and also Head of Community Medicine in International Medical University (IMU) and MAHSA University, Kuala Lumpur
He received his basic medical degree (MBBS) from University of Kerala, India and went on to do his Masters in Public Health (MPH) from University Malaya and MBA from Boston University. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine (FAMM) Malaysia and Fellow of the Royal Society of Health (FRSH) of UK. He has more than 45 years of Public Health experience both locally and internationally. He has been a consultant for WHO, UNICEF and In Develop (Sweden) in more than 20 countries in the WHO’s Western Pacific Region in areas such as Primary Health Care, Maternal and Child Health Care, and Health Services Management.
He has published more than 120 scientific and technical papers in both the local and international journals and has authored 10 books. During his career in Ministry of Health he served as the Chairman of the Reproductive Health Meeting organized by the Family Health Division in World Health Organization (WHO) in the Headquarters in Geneva, and also as Vice-Chairman of the Members of Interested Parties Meeting in WHO Headquarters as well. He has been an Organizing Chairman of several Public Health Conferences both in Malaysia and internationally.
Prof Yadav serves on several editorial boards of International Medical Journals and has participated in several research projects. His current research interest is on maternal mortality, birth weight of infants and primary health care management. For his hard work and dedication, he has received several awards from the Government of Malaysia and from the Universities. He is also a recipient of the prestigious Hind Rattan Award from the NRI Welfare Society of India and currently listed in the Marquis WHOs Who in the World since 1997.

Dr. Supat Chupradit is an Assistant Professor in Occupational Therapy at the Department of Occupational Therapy at the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University.
