Anthony Schembri is a respected law enforcement and academic professional with over four decades’ experience in the field. Over the years, he has drawn praise from such varied sources as New York City Mayor, President Jimmy Carter, Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and New York Governor Mario Cuomo. First appointed to the Brooklyn District Attorneys Office he advanced to Deputy Chief of the Narcotics Bureau, then to Director of Training at the District Attorneys Police Academy. Anthony Schembri has served as the city’s Deputy Inspector General, investigating cases of major crime and corruption. He was appointed by the Mayor of New York as Corrections Commissioner, a position putting him in charge of 12,000 uniformed officers and 20,000 inmates at 19 separate jail facilities. Today, the Citrus County, Florida, resident serves as a Visiting Professor at Oxford and Sheffield Hallam University and named Outstanding Professor of the Year at the University of Florida.

Dr. Swindell is a professor of Social Work at Mississippi State University and recently made history as the first teaching Ph.D. and MSW in Social Work to be awarded tenure and achieve the rank of professor. Swindell also independently contracts as a mitigation expert and expert witness, working with men serving capital murder sentences on death row in the US. She has over 30 years of experience in forensic social work and brings a wealth of information from sociology, social work, and forensic testimony evidence retrieval to this conference. Dr. Swindell completed her Ph.D. (2001) and MSW (1992) in Social Work from the University of Alabama.

Erik Hall is the Director of the Forensic Science Program at Saint Louis University in St Louis, Missouri. Mr. Hall was the former Biology Technical Leader and a DNA analyst at the St Louis Metropolitan Police Department Crime Laboratory. At the crime laboratory, Mr. Hall was the head of the DNA crime scene response team which was tasked with aiding detectives in investigating major crime scenes using bloodstain pattern analysis and advanced DNA techniques to gain insight into the crimes. Mr. Hall has expanded his passion for forensic science as the founder and principal consultant of Hall Forensic Consulting, which specializes in assisting law enforcement, crime laboratories, and attorneys in areas such as DNA analysis, crime scene investigation, and bloodstain pattern analysis. Mr. Hall has a Master’s degree in Forensic Science from the University of New Haven and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Messiah University.

Dr. Gomaa joined Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology in September 2017 and has been Acting Director of E-JUST Language Center since September 2018. She received her PhD degree in Applied Linguistics from the Faculty of Arts, Department of English Language and Literature, Alexandria University. Throughout her career she has been teaching ESP and communication courses at various faculties and as an advocate of interdisciplinary learning, she has focused her MA and PhD on combining various fields of study including linguistics, literature, communication and media. Her interests have now broadened to include a wider field of disciplinary studies encompassing the role of discourse analysis in politics and media representation and the interrelation of linguistic techniques and marketing strategies. As a strong believer in student interaction to facilitate language acquisition, Dr. Gomaa has promoted effective student empowerment in all her courses. She held and participated in numerous communication courses, seminars, and training sessions at the university to help build soft skills and effective writing and communication skills of students. "Barrie Trower - I trained at the Government (Ministry of Defense) microwave warfare establishments early in the 1960s covering all aspects of microwave technology, uses and health dangers. Later works included under water bomb-disposal which incorporated microwave technology. In the late 1960’s and 1970’s a part of my task was to extract confidential information from master criminals, terrorists, and spies. This included Cold War microwave technology. My first degree is in Physics with a specialization in microwaves. My second degree is a research degree. I have a teaching diploma in human physiology. Before retiring, I taught advanced physics and mathematics at South Dartmoor College. I am Scientific Advisor to the Radiation Research Trust and the H.E.S.E. (Human Ecological Social Economical) Project. I am the author of both Tetra Reports for the Police Federation of England and Wales and the Public and Commercial Service Union.

Having worked on the Moroccan-Mauritanian borders, she has accumulated experience which she is gradually developing in the forensic medicine department in Rabat. I am Katherine Pieterse the Journalist who is now Human Trafficked across the world for standing up for Human Rights. I am from San Antonio and Boerne, Texas and I have lived and worked in London, England, Dublin, Ireland and South Africa. I began my journalism journey when I attended the private University of Incarnate Word in 1995. Two years later I transferred to Richmond, American University of London. I graduated there in 1999 with a Bachelors of Art degree in Communications with the emphasis on Radio/Television and film. I have worked for Waterman Productions for KTSA radio, San Antonio, Texas and Zap Productions on the motion film Still Breathing starring Brendan Fraser and Joanna Going. I began my career, as a Journalist at CNN International London for a weekly television program, Pinnacle Europe. I enjoyed it tremendously. We looked for the good in the businesses and the founders that began from the bottom and became the best in their field. I have also been a high school English teacher and taught in Langley, Slough, England for nearly five (5) years. Worked for the top skin care companies of Switzerland, France and United Kingdom. These include: La Prairie, Decleor, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Harrods. I have traveled the world learning and writing about interesting people and cultures and learn so much from others. It makes realize how much goodness and creativity is in the world. I returned home to Texas and began working in the automotive industry and quickly worked my way up to upper management and eventually became the #1 Equity Manager in the nation. I moved to Bellaire, Houston,Texas in 2014 and became targeted for being a smart, happy, honest, outgoing happy woman. In 2016, my life was taken from me. I am extremely passionate about people and their well-being and their Human Rights. My highly ethical personal belief system is what has caused me to be sold online globally for Human Trafficking, specifically for torture which includes humiliation and degrading themes. Human Trafficking takes away every human civil right we have. I do not have one legal, God given right. I aid her in conducting audio analysis of radio communications of criminals committing an array of crimes to victims of electronic harassment. Other - I worked as a salesperson & head of the Hi-Tech department for a music retail chain –duties - sales, customers, demonstrations, deliveries, specialist training from product manufacturers such as – KORG, ROLAND, MOOG, STEINBERG. I have worked in studios & did workshops & teaching in studio environments. Duties Recording, mixing, editing, mastering, composition, DSP, production, studio design. I have been a drum & guitar tutor on and off. I worked providing debt advice and in collections for banks and debt recovery companies, duties - debtors, negotiation, payment arrangements, account management & referrals to solicitors. Melanie is German and lives in Brussels. During two decades, she has gained valuable experience in public relations and events management of international associations. Her former positions involved close cooperation with the European Institutions and organisation of numerous international conferences and trade shows. The organisation is acting as a lobbying and advocacy platform towards the European Union.For most of her life, she was a passionate marathon runner. Melanie has been the team leader of various group marathons she organised for awareness- and fund-raising benefiting children charities or homeless persons’ refuge projects. To her great regret, such activity is now infeasible due to the physiological damage and debility suffered as a consequence of being a victim of electronic terrorism.
