Hassan Karimi-Maleh works as professor in the School of Resource and Environment, University of Electronics Science and Technology of China (UESTC). Dr. Boajă (Popescu) Iustina is a chemical engineer working as senior research scientist in soil science and environmental pollution. She is currently Head of the Sustainable Development Department at the Geological Institute of Romania and an Associate Professor at the Politehnica University of Bucharest. Has a broad experience in soil pollution and coordinates an interdisciplinary research group that aims to participate in the research areas that help to achieve a long-term improvement of life quality through responsible management of natural resources in order to meet the economic needs of the society. Sabu Thomas is currently the Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India. He is a Professor at the International and Inter University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and Full Professor of Polymer Science and Engineering at the School of Chemical Sciences of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India. His ground-breaking research has covered the areas of polymer science and engineering, polymer nanocomposites, elastomers, polymer blends, interpenetrating polymer networks, polymer membranes, green composites and nanocomposites, nanomedicine and green nanotechnology. Prof. Thomas has received several national and international awards in recognition for his work, and recently received Honoris Causa (DSc) from the University of South Brittany, Lorient, France, in recognition for his contributions to polymer science and engineering. Vladimir V. Rumyantsev is Chair of the Department of Theory of Complex Systems Dynamic Properties at A.A. Galkin Donetsk Institute for Physics and Engineering. He is Professor of Theoretical Physics and Nanotechnology Department at Donetsk National University. He received PhD in Theoretical Physics (1988) and Dr. Sci. in Condensed Matter Physics (2007). Prof. Rumyantsev has authored/co-authored 4 books, 2 chapters in books and more than 330 scientific publications. Professor Vladimir G. Chigrinov is Professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since 1999. He is an Expert in Flat Panel Technology in Russia, recognized by the World Technology Evaluation Centre, 1994, and SID Fellow since 2008. Mohamed Farhat O. Hameed is a full professor at Nanotechnology and Nanoelectronics Engineering Program at Zewail City of Science and Technology. He is working in the area of computational modelling and optimization of photonic devices with a good track record of publications. Based on his research, 160 journal papers, mostly in IEEE and IEE journals, have been published, and 140 conference papers have been presented in the best national and international meetings. Additionally, two books have been published by the world-leading scientific publishers; Wiley (Computational Liquid Crystal Photonics: Fundamentals, Modelling and Applications, 2016) and Springer (Computational Photonic Sensors, 2018). He managed to secure fund in the region of 20 MEGP from STD and ASRT as a PI or CO-PI. His main research interests are focused on the area of computational modelling of photonic devices including optical sensors, metamaterial, photonic crystal fibers, polarization handelling devices, SOI, surface plasmon applications, nano antennas, and solar cells. He got many national/international awards including best PhD thesis and Mansoura Incentive Awards from Mansoura University for the years 2011/2012, and 2014, respectively. In addition, he was awarded the Incentive State Award for Engineering Sciences from the Egyptian Government along with the African Union- The World Academy of Sciences (AU-TWAS) Young Scientists National Award in Basic Science, Technology and Innovation, for the year 2014/2015. Further, he received the Shrouk Academy award for scientific innovation in electronic engineering and applications for the year 2015/2016. Additionally, he got the Medal of Excellence from the Egyptian President (August 2017) and Venice Kamel Award for scientific creativity for young researchers in the field of technological innovations (2016/2017) and Amin Lotfy prize for physical science (2017/2018). Recently, he has been awarded Shoman prize for computational physics (2021), and Khalifa Award for Distinguished Arab professors (2022).
