Dyuksha Hazarika is a final year Masters student in Public health and Social Epidemiology from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She had completed her under graduation in Sociology (Hons) with minor in Psychology from the University of Delhi. Her interests are in public health, research and development and social service sector. Keeping her interest in mind she has been involved in various national and international non-governmental organizations whose specializations were in child rights, geriatric care, mental health, disability care, truckers’ community, sex workers health and maternal and child health. She had co-authored two research papers and one guideline alongside working as a voluntary counsellor during the pandemic. Her current research project is on “Morbidity profile and utilization of health services among the transgender (LGBTQ+) community in the city of Guwahati, Assam”. Dyuksha has an online blog where she writes articles on various public health issues. She has a desire to pursue her research in maternal health and mental health to translate her work in the community especially from her PhD program in the future.

Graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University in Egypt in 2011. Worked as a pharmacist at the Ministry of Health then pursued a master’s degree of Public Health from The High Institute of Public Health, Alexandria University in 2016. Chosen as an emerging leader by the US department of State exchange program, Techwomen in 2017, where she was hosted at Illumina in the Silicon Valley. Selected as a scholar by the Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professionals to pursue her master’s degree of Medical Sciences in Public Health at Lund University in Sweden in 2019. Worked as a Graduate Student Researcher for the Clinical Health Promotion Center – WHO collaborating center to study the effect of successful quitting following the Gold Standard Program on mortality of successful quitters compared to non-successful quitters using the Danish Smoking Cessation Database. Lastly, she worked as a consultant for the WHO NCD office in Europe.

Dr. Muhammad Karim is a public health & clinical expert, policy maker, lab & field – based clinical as well as non – clinical researcher, grant manager and famous executor of the projects. That's why colleagues describe him. He is presently working with AADA, an Afghanistan based national NGO having multiple UNICEF, WHO and World bank funded health projects (BPHS/EPHS and non-BPHS/EPHS) in primary up to tertiary level healthcare setup in various provinces of Afghanistan as Senior Technical Coordinator to give proper technical support to office and field staff accordingly. He is also voluntarily working with Afghanistan Medical Council (AMC) and Kabul University as e/health Deputy Program Manager and lecturer for various health topics to be delivered to professionals in online settings to be more involved in communities’ service in a deemed way. He is an active member of various national and international societies as ASM (American Society for Microbiology), ISID (International Society of Infectious Diseases), AMC (Afghanistan Medical Council), AHMA (Afghanistan Homeopathic Medical Association), WPA (World Psychiatric Association) to serve the humanity in an honored way. He also part time practices general medicine in Atlus hospital Kabul. He is having one of his research work publication “Assessment of the Availability and Utilization of RMNCAH and ATM Services in the Targeted Communities of Khost Province Prior to Service Delivery by FHHs and PHPs” published in international journal of Global Scientific Guild journal in August 2021.

Dr. Linda is a General Pediatrician with a long history of working with the underserved in rural and urban settings. As well she has worked in the non-profit and academic sector to promote health education and contribute to outpatient clinical research. She completed her education at the University of Virginia, B.A Chemistry, B.A French, University of Chicago-Pritzker School of Medicine, M.D, Emory UniversitSchool of Public Health, MPH. Informatics She can speak to the diversity and disjointed nature of the American Health care system given my diverse geography of training and professional experience which includes urban and rural American, the North-East, the South and the Atlantic Coast. She has been a community advocate serving on local boards for the Red Cross, March of Dimes, and Mental Health organizations. Dr. Samaa Akhtar MD, MSs (London) is an experienced physician-scientist who is an ardent advocate of improving patient care and health systems through clinical and translational research. Following completion of her Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery from NUST (Pakistan), she went on to complete her Master's in Health Policy, with a concentration in public health, from City, University of London (United Kingdom). Additionally, Dr. Akhtar has completed a certification in Health System Strengthening from John's Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (United States). She is also certified in the International Conference on Harmonization-Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP). Dr. Akhtar is member of the European Society of Cardiology and The Global Health Network. She also volunteers as contributing researcher in the Oli Healthcare Magazine Organization (OHMO) and as a peer-reviewer for The Cureus Journal of Medical Science. Her research has been published in coveted journals such as The Harvard Public Health Review (HPHR) and the Journal of Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology (ICHE). I have completed my bachelors in homoeopathic medicine and surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2019 and did Master’s in Public Health from Nitte (Deemed to be University) with second highest cumulative score in the university. I have worked with Sate Health Systems Resource Centre- Kerala as a research intern for a duration of two months. My area of interest is mental health and I have conducted studies on the same during my UG and PG.

Subarna Chakraborty is a postgraduate public health student at Imperial College London and a Faculty of Medicine Dean’s Master’s scholar. She currently works in the Community Resilience Team of the British Red Cross, and also serves as a reviewer and technical advisor at the Global Journal of Medicine and Public Health. With a strong bioinformatics background, she wants to amalgamate genetics and epidemiology to focus on antimicrobial resistance in the future. Her interests also lie in strengthening health systems in low and middle-income countries by analyzing policies that focus on incorporating frugal innovations and digital health technologies into their healthcare systems. She also has post-graduation in MBA (Hospital Management and Supply Chain Management). She is pursuing Ph. D. in Public Health from Amity Institute of Public Health, Amity University, Noida, U.P. Presently she is working as an Optometrist in Lokbandhu Shree Rajnarayan Combined Hospital, Lucknow. She was former and founder HOD & Assist Professor, Department of Optometry, Era University, Lucknow. She was Assistant Proctor and member of anti-ranging committee of Era University. She is member of Society for Allied Health and health care professional’s education and research, Era University, Lucknow. Ragni Kumari has 15 years of clinical and academic experience. She is Ex. Audrey Wong is a current PY4 at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Chapel Hill Campus. She is an active member in the International Pharmaceutical Students Federation. Her passion for global health has motivated her to join the Global Health Workforce Network (GHWN) Youth Hub. Not only is Audrey passionate about global health, but she is also interested in clinical pharmacy, especially in infectious diseases. Audrey has a strong team spirit and is a dedicated leader. Dr. Nehal Soffar is a Clinical Pharmacist for Alexandria Pediatric Center and a Health Promotion Volunteer at Red Crescent Alexandria, with almost 7 years of health-related volunteering and work experience, driven by public health advocacy and equality for all. She was recognized by the British Council as one of the top 10 science communicators in Egypt in Famelab international competition 2020. Nehal co-founded the "Wander Destinations" initiative, responsible for road safety and health promotion during the trips. It has been honored as one of the top 100 startups at the "Startup Istanbul-2019" global competition out of 160,000 international startups. Earlier in 2014-15, Nehal began her activities in the health promotion. Precious Olayinka graduated recently, with a B.sc in Public Health. She had her internship with Monitor Healthcare Limited, a health NGO, whose present focus is to reduce the burden of Breast Cancer in Nigeria.
